Vaibhav Sooryavanshi smashed 97 off 29 balls as Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 47 runs in the IPL Eliminator to reach Qualifier 2.

Rajasthan Royals defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by 47 runs in the Indian Premier League Eliminator clash at Mullanpur on Wednesday to qualify for Qualifier 2.

With the victory, Rajasthan Royals will now face Gujarat Titans in Qualifier 2 scheduled to be played on Friday.

Vaibhav Sooryavanshi Smashes 97 Off 29 Balls

Young batter Vaibhav Sooryavanshi played a blistering innings of 97 runs off just 29 balls to help Rajasthan Royals post a massive total of 243 for 8 in 20 overs.

Dhruv Jurel also contributed with a half-century, scoring 50 runs during RR’s innings.

For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Praful Hinge picked up 3 wickets for 54 runs.

SRH Fold for 196 in 19.2 Overs

Chasing a huge target of 244 runs, Sunrisers Hyderabad were bowled out for 196 in 19.2 overs.

Ishan Kishan provided a quick start with 33 runs before SRH suffered a collapse.

Nitish Kumar Reddy scored 38 runs, while Salil Arora added 35 runs in the chase.

Jofra Archer Leads RR Bowling Attack

Fast bowler Jofra Archer starred with the ball for Rajasthan Royals and emerged as the pick of the bowlers with figures of 3 wickets for 58 runs.

Nandre Burger also impressed by taking 2 wickets for 26 runs.
