Mailardevpally Police Detect Robbery Case, Arrest 3 Accused Including 2 Rowdy Sheeters; Cash, Knife, Phones and Vehicles Seized

Hyderabad: Mailardevpally Police on 24.06.2026 successfully detected a robbery case and apprehended three accused persons involved in robbing an auto driver at Nice Hotel, Vattepally. The accused, identified as Mohammed Mahaboob @ Baba, Mohammed Saddam @ Abdul Kaleem alias Khaleel, and Shaik Raheel, along with their associate, had allegedly intercepted an auto driver near Guntal Sha Baba Dargah during the early hours of 20.06.2026 and robbed him of his mobile phone and cash amounting to Rs.1,600 after threatening him with a knife. The accused were apprehended on 24.06.2026 near Ayan Hotel, Vattepally, and confessed to the offence during interrogation. The investigation stands detected and the accused have been apprehended.

According to the police, the accused and their associate intercepted an auto driver near Guntal Sha Baba Dargah in the early hours of 20.06.2026. They allegedly threatened the victim with a knife and robbed him of:

• Cash amounting to Rs.1,600/-

Following credible information and sustained efforts by the police, the accused were traced and apprehended near Ayan Hotel, Vattepally on 24.06.2026.

During interrogation, the accused confessed to their involvement in the robbery.
