Surprise Inspections at Golconda Ration Shops
As part of a drive to check irregularities and ensure the proper distribution of essential commodities, Assistant Civil Supplies Officer (ACSO), Mehdipatnam Circle, Bushra Sultana, led a team in conducting surprise inspections at several fair price (ration) shops in the Golconda area of Hyderabad.
The inspections were carried out on Thursday to verify compliance with government rules governing the Public Distribution System.
Cases Booked Over PDS Irregularities
During the inspections, officials booked a few cases against ration shop dealers for alleged violations.
According to the Civil Supplies Department, the alleged violations included:
