Telangana Fire Safety Awareness Programme Draws 500+ School Representatives in Hyderabad, FIoT Smart Fire Detection Solution Launched

More than 500 school management representatives attended the Telangana Statewide Fire Safety Awareness Programme at Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad, where Basic Elements launched the FIoT smart fire detection solution for schools.

Hyderabad, July 14: More than 500 school management representatives from across Telangana participated in the Statewide Fire Safety Awareness Programme organised by the Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency & Civil Defence Department in association with Basic Elements at Ravindra Bharathi on Tuesday. During the programme, Basic Elements launched FIoT, an IoT-based smart fire detection and monitoring solution for schools, while Vikram Singh Mann, IPS, Director General, Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency & Civil Defence Department, called for stronger emergency preparedness and regular safety audits in educational institutions.

The Statewide Fire Safety Awareness Programme was organised by the Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency & Civil Defence Department in association with Basic Elements at Ravindra Bharathi in Hyderabad on July 14 (Tuesday).

The event brought together more than 500 school management representatives from across Telangana to promote fire safety awareness and improve disaster preparedness in educational institutions.

The programme was inaugurated by Vikram Singh Mann, IPS, Director General, Telangana Fire, Disaster Response, Emergency & Civil Defence Department.

Addressing the gathering, he stressed that fire safety is a shared responsibility. He urged all educational institutions to:

  • Conduct regular safety audits
  • Create safer learning environments for students

Basic Elements Launches FIoT Smart Fire Detection Solution

During the programme, Basic Elements launched FIoT, an IoT-based smart fire detection and monitoring solution designed for schools.
