All facilities in govt. schools on par with corporate schools; says Sabita

Hyderabad: Telangana Minister for Education, Sabitha Indra Reddy said that all 26 thousand government schools in the state will have the facilities on par with corporate schools in phased manner in the coming three years for which funds of Rs. 7,300 crore has been allocated under Mana Ooru – Mana Badi and Mana Basti – Mana Badi program. 

Along with the Home Minister Mohd. Mahmood Ali, Minister for Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development Talasani Srinivas Yadav, Sabitha Indra Reddy inspected the renovation works being done in Alia School at Basheer Bagh, as part of the programme “Mana Basti – Mana Badi program.

Speaking on this occasion, she said that we are working towards providing all facilities by doing renovation and development works in the government schools.

She pointed out that the schools which were not painted since long are being painted, water connection, toilets and digital classrooms were being set up. 

She said that English Medium is being introduced from 1st to 8th class. She expressed confidence that public schools will replace the private schools. She said 75 per cent of the renovation and development works has been completed in the state. 

She appealed to the parents to send their children to Government schools.
