In the first accident, three youths died when their motorcycle was hit by an SUV at Papayapalli village in Bestavaripeta mandal on Monday in Prakasam district in AP.

Sub-inspector Narasimha Rao said three youths were going to the toll plaza located in Pandillapalli village to have tea. A speeding Bolero vehicle hit the bike, killing Pawan (20), Srinivas (21) and Rahul (21) instantaneously.

After the SUV hit the bike, the petrol tank of the bike broke and flames erupted, which gutted the bike. The police registered a case and shifted the bodies to the GGH for a postmortem.

In Eluru district, two youths died and another injured when the bike their bike fell into an agriculture well at Kanasanapalli village in Agiripalli mandal near here on Monday.

Sub-inspector N. Chantibabu said the three youths were going to Nunna village after meeting their relatives at Kanasanapalli village. The bike fell into an agriculture well since the rider lost control over the bike.

The deceased were identified as Shetti Sai Kumar (24) and Talasella Krishna Chaitanya (24). The bodies and the bike were retrieved from the agriculture well. The injured person, N Rakesh (25) was shifted to a private hospital.
