Speaking to the media here on Wednesday, Minister Ponnam Prabhakar found fault with Bandi Sanjay for dragging the name of his mother into politics and said that the BJP leader was doing cheap politics to retain the Karimnagar Lok Sabha seat again.
“It has been five years since Bandi Sanjay won as MP from Karimnagar. Tell about the progress he has done in these five years for the development of Lok Sabha segment as well as Karimnagar district. As there has been no single work during the last five years, he is again provoking people in the name of religion,” Ponnam pointed out.
“Last time, Bandi Sanjay won the election in the name of Hindu and now, he wants to reelect in the name of Ram Mandir. He has not done any progress in the constituency except by provoking people in the name of religion,” Ponnam alleged.
