During the recently held Assembly elections, the Congress party has promised to fill two lakh existing vacancies within one year of forming government and also released a first-of-its-kind job calendar as part of its manifesto.

It was one of the reasons of the previous BRS government which received debacle in the Assembly elections that it has failed to conduct recruitment exams in a hassle-free manner due to paper-leaks and postponements of exams.

Keeping this in mind, the State government has decided to strengthen the TSPSC and to conduct exams effectively.
