CM Revanth Reddy Meets Uber CEO, Company Plans Expansion and Future City Office in Telangana

Hyderabad: CM Revanth Reddy held a meeting with Dara Khosrowshahi, Chief Executive Officer of Uber Technologies Inc., at his residence in Jubilee Hills on Tuesday. During the meeting, Uber announced plans to continue expanding its operations in Telangana and expressed interest in establishing its corporate office in the proposed Future City project.

Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi informed the Chief Minister that the company is expanding its Center of Excellence in Hyderabad, where around 600 engineers are currently working. The facility is Uber’s first Center of Excellence established outside the United States.
Uber to Expand Operations in Telangana
During the meeting in Jubilee Hills, Dara Khosrowshahi said Uber would continue working closely with the Telangana Government for the expansion of the company’s operations in the State.
He informed Chief Minister Revanth Reddy that Uber is strengthening and expanding its Center of Excellence in Hyderabad.
According to Uber representatives, approximately 600 engineers are currently employed at the facility.
Hyderabad Hosts Uber’s First Center of Excellence Outside US
Uber representatives stated that the Hyderabad facility is the company’s first Center of Excellence established outside the United States.
The company also expressed interest in setting up its corporate office in the proposed Future City project in Telangana.
The development is expected to strengthen Hyderabad’s position as a major technology and innovation hub.
CM Revanth Reddy Suggests Multi-Level Parking Solutions
Chief Minister Revanth Reddy suggested that Uber explore opportunities in the parking management sector.
He highlighted the increasing parking challenges in major cities across the country and advised the company to consider establishing multi-level parking centers to meet future urban requirements.
Responding positively to the proposal, Uber representatives said they would undertake a comprehensive study on the idea.
Telangana Government Assures Full Support
The Chief Minister assured the Uber delegation that the Telangana Government would extend full support for the company’s expansion and investment initiatives in the State.
