CM Revanth Reddy’s Dream Project TPS to Open in Arutla with 1,814 Students, Free Buses and International-Standard Facilities

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy will inaugurate Telangana Public School in Arutla. The school offers international-standard education, free bus transport, meals, digital classrooms and modern facilities. Telangana plans to establish 100 TPS schools.

As part of major reforms in the education sector and efforts to take government education in a new direction, the Telangana Government has launched the Telangana Public Schools (TPS) initiative. Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy is set to inaugurate the Telangana Public School (TPS) in Arutla on Wednesday, a project described as his dream initiative.

The Telangana Public School, developed with modern facilities comparable to corporate educational institutions, is expected to usher in a new educational revolution in Telangana. The Chief Minister will reach Arutla at 9:30 AM and unveil the Telangana Public School pylon.

Revanth Reddy to Inspect Modern Facilities and Meet Students

After the inauguration, the Chief Minister will inspect the school’s:

  • Digital classrooms
  • Library
  • Science laboratories
  • Dining hall
  • Sports grounds

He will also interact with students, teachers, and school committee members to understand their views and experiences.

The Chief Minister will have breakfast with students and later address a public gathering at the school.

Telangana Education Commission Played Key Role

With the objective of providing government education on par with corporate educational institutions, Revanth Reddy established an Education Commission, described as unique in the country, to strengthen the education sector.

the Arutla Telangana Public School was developed.

Education from Nursery to Intermediate with International Standards

The school will provide education from Nursery to Intermediate with international standards.

Apart from quality education, equal importance will be given to:

  • Personality development

Education will be provided in English medium using modern teaching methods and advanced technological facilities.

Free Bus Facility, Breakfast, Lunch and Evening Snacks

Students studying in Telangana Public Schools will receive:

  • Free bus transportation
  • Morning breakfast
  • Midday meal
  • Evening snacks

The initiative aims to increase public confidence in government schools and establish a model for Telangana’s education system.

Telangana Public School Pilot Project Covers Four Schools

The government has selected four schools as part of the Telangana Public School pilot project.

The first phase includes:

  • Arutla School, Ranga Reddy district
  • Manchal School, Ranga Reddy district
  • Vangoor School, erstwhile Mahabubnagar district
  • Polkampally School, erstwhile Mahabubnagar district

The government has also prepared an action plan to expand the Telangana Public School concept across the state.

The target is to establish 100 Telangana Public Schools in a phased manner.

Arutla TPS Equipped with Corporate-Level Infrastructure

The Arutla Telangana Public School has been designed to compete with corporate schools.

Facilities available include:

  • Modern infrastructure
  • Digital classrooms
  • Spacious playgrounds
  • Laboratories
  • Well-ventilated classrooms with ample light and air
  • Library
  • Gym
  • Dining halls

Sports facilities have been created for:

  • Cricket
  • Football
  • Volleyball
  • Kho Kho
  • Kabaddi
  • Tennis
  • Carroms

Special coaches have also been made available for students in these sports.

Five School Buses Arranged for Nearby Villages

The government has arranged five school buses to transport students from villages surrounding Arutla to the school.

Officials said parents are competing to secure admissions for their children in Telangana Public School.

Many parents are also showing interest in shifting their children from private schools to TPS.

Telangana Public School Currently Has 1,814 Students

At present, the Arutla Telangana Public School has a total of 1,814 students.

The student strength is as follows:

  • Pre-Primary: 150 students
  • Primary School: 600 students
  • High School (two blocks combined): 800 students
  • Intermediate First Year: 160 students
  • Intermediate Second Year: 104 students

Due to growing demand from parents, the school has reportedly reached a stage where a “No Admission” board had to be displayed.
