Excise Minister inspects Neera Cafe works at Necklace Road

Speaking on the occasion, he said that they were constructing the Neera Cafe with the sole objective of bringing glory to the community based professions of the state

Hyderabad: State Excise Minister V. Srinivas Goud today inspected the ongoing works of Neera cafe, which is being constructed in a prestigious manner by the state government. He was accompanied by the representatives of Gouda Sangham and the officials of the state government.

Speaking on the occasion, he said that they were constructing the Neera cafe with the sole objective of bringing glory to the community based professions of the state as per the instructions of the CM of the state KCR.

He said that they were spending Rs.25 crore to build the cafe and added that the Neera water has medicinal properties that can cure 15 types of diseases. He alleged that the past rulers of the state had even banned the consumption of neera in the state capital and insulted the profession of the toddy tappers.

Goud said that they were also setting up the neera centers at Nandanam of village of Bhongir Yadadri district, Sarvelu village of Samsthan Naryanapuram mandal and Munipally village of Sadasivapeta mandal from Sangareddy district and Charikonda village of Amangal mandal of Ranga Reddy district.

He said that they were also taking steps to provide exgratia to the family members of the toddy tappers, who die in accidents on the lines of Rythu bhima scheme.
