Hyderabad: Gandhi Kotari and Sruthi Adhini emerged as champions in the men’s and women’s categories respectively at the 1st Telangana State Ranking Tenpin Bowling Tournament, which concluded at Game Xtreme.
In the men’s final, played over two games based on cumulative pinfall, second seed Gandhi Kotari delivered a dominant performance against top seed Prem Sai. Kotari took an early lead in Game 1, scoring 212 against Prem Sai’s 156, establishing a strong 56-pin advantage. He maintained consistency in Game 2 with a score of 178, narrowly trailing Prem Sai’s 179, but comfortably sealed the title with an overall score of 390–335, winning by 55 pins.
Earlier in the stepladder round, fourth seed Rakshith Raghav defeated third seed Naveen Siddam by 52 pins (378–326) in Match 1. In Match 2, Gandhi Kotari edged past Rakshith Raghav in a close contest, winning by just 6 pins (350–344) to advance to the final.

In the women’s division, Sruthi Adhini outperformed top seed Sindhura in a two-game final. Sruthi built a 17-pin lead in the first game (131–114) and extended it in the second game, scoring 142 against Sindhura’s 132. She secured the title with a total score of 273–246, winning by 27 pins.
