Global Peace Rally and Economic Summit to be held in Hyderabad on Oct 2

Hyderabad: Global Peace Founder Dr K A Paul announced on Wednesday that the Global Peace Rally and Economic Summit will be held at Gymkhana Grounds here on October 2, on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Birthday.
Talking to the media, Dr Paul said invitations have already been sent to 197 Presidents and Prime ministers of various countries around the world.
“We are happy to inform that 28 heads of countries have accepted our invitation to attend”, he said and added that Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) has been invited as the chief guest.
About 100 new companies, more than one lakh jobs and thousands of crores of investment will be brought to the Telangana state through this wonderful peace rally and economic summit, Dr Paul said.
He said, “ I am making a concerted effort to bring at least one lakh crore investments to Telangana from October 2, 2022 till next October, 2 2023”.
Hanumantha Rao, a senior leader of the Congress, has called upon all the political party leaders of Telangana to attend this rally and put aside political differences and contribute to the spread of peace.
Gaikadu Gaddar said that leaders of all parties should take this great program as a responsibility to attend the rally and support the rally.
Former CBI officer Lakshmi Narayana said that Chief Minister KCR should hold a press meet and personally invite the leaders, Prime Ministers and guests to Hyderabad in an official and responsible manner.
Everyone who participated in the meeting opined that the main mission of this peace rally is to promote peace, love and non-violence from Gandhi’s heartland to the world as well as it is more timely than ever in history and much needed now.
More than a billion people around the world are expected to watch this peace rally live after 14 years.
After the meeting, a poster related to the peace rally and economy summit was released, a party release here said.
