Telangana Government to Launch Second Phase of Indiramma Houses, New Pensions from June 2: Minister Seethakka

Minister Seethakka announced the second phase of Indiramma Houses, new pensions from June 2, and a breakfast scheme for students during the Praja Palana meeting in Mulugu.

Mulugu: Telangana Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Rural Water Supply, Women and Child Welfare Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka said the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme is ensuring welfare benefits reach every household in the state.

The minister announced that the second phase of Indiramma Houses and new pensions will be sanctioned from June 2. She also said the government will implement a breakfast scheme for students from pre-primary to Intermediate level.

The district-level Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika meeting was held grandly on Friday at Leela Garden Function Hall under the chairmanship of District Collector Borkhade Hemant Sahadeorao.

Minister Seethakka Launches Programme With Telangana State Song

Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka attended the programme as chief guest and inaugurated the event by singing the Telangana state song “Jaya Jayahe Telangana”.

She stated that the prestigious 99-day Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme launched by the state government aims to ensure welfare schemes reach every household.

The minister said the programme is being conducted from March 6, 2026, to June 12, 2026, covering village, mandal, constituency, and district-level meetings.

Government Schemes Explained at Mulugu Meeting

Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka said the main objective of the programme is to create complete public awareness about the government’s prestigious welfare schemes.

She instructed officials to increase public participation in governance and identify district-level issues for resolution.

Referring to the “Youth and Sports” celebrations being held from May 18 to May 23, the minister called upon youth to actively participate in sports activities.

The minister explained implementation of schemes including:

  • Rythu Bharosa
  • Indiramma Houses
  • Rs.500 gas cylinder under Mahalakshmi scheme
  • Free electricity up to 200 units under Gruhajyothi
  • Bonus for fine variety paddy
  • Cheyutha pensions
  • Kalyana Lakshmi
  • Shaadi Mubarak
  • Indira Mahila Shakti
  • Interest-free loans
  • Indiramma sarees
  • New ration cards

Breakfast Scheme for Students From Pre-Primary to Intermediate

Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka announced that the government will provide breakfast to students from pre-primary to Intermediate level.

She stated that ragi malt and hot milk will also be supplied on alternate days.

The minister further announced:

  • Indiramma family life insurance for every family in the state
  • Extension of the mid-day meal scheme to Intermediate students
  • Motorized vehicles for differently-abled Intermediate students

She also said the government would encourage crop diversification and natural organic farming.

Officials Asked to Prepare Beneficiary Lists Immediately

The minister instructed officials to work closely with people and implement schemes transparently.

She directed all departments to immediately prepare beneficiary lists scheme-wise.

Minister Seethakka also ordered a re-survey of over 10,000 acres of podu lands located on the outskirts of Ramachandrapur village, which have remained pending for several years.

Sammakka Saralamma Jatara Conducted Grandly

The minister stated that Asia’s largest tribal fair, Sammakka Saralamma Jatara, was conducted grandly.

She said 22 acres of land were acquired from farmers and compensation was paid for temple development works.

According to the minister, the temple surroundings have also been beautified further.

Mulugu Gets Highest Number of Indiramma Houses

Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka said Mulugu constituency received the highest number of Indiramma Houses in the state.

She announced that over 38,000 new pensions would be distributed in Mulugu district on June 2.

The minister instructed officials to immediately prepare eligible beneficiary lists.

Government Ready for Paddy Procurement in Mulugu

The minister stated that there are no issues regarding paddy procurement in the district.

She said enough lorries are available for transportation and the district administration has made all arrangements to purchase every grain produced by farmers.

Mega Job Mela Planned for Local Youth

Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka announced that a mega job mela would be organised in Mulugu district for unemployed local youth.

She said around 80 to 100 government sector and private multinational companies would participate in the job mela.

Mulugu District Tops SSC Results in Telangana

The minister expressed happiness that Mulugu district secured first place in the state in Class 10 examination results.

She advised students to excel in education as well as all other fields.

Minister Calls for Clean Villages and Public Service

Minister Seethakka urged local public representatives, councillors, and sarpanches to work with commitment for village development.

She said the main objective should be to wipe away people’s problems, difficulties, and tears.

The minister also instructed officials to effectively utilise sanitation workers to ensure villages remain clean continuously.

Government Promoting Ippa Trees and Women’s Celebrations

The minister stated that the government is giving priority to cultivation of Ippa trees and said Ippa flowers have many benefits.

She also announced that Women’s Week celebrations would be conducted from May 25 as part of Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika and called for grand celebrations across the district.

District Collector Explains Programme Achievements

District Collector Borkhade Hemant Sahadeorao explained the development works completed at village, mandal, and constituency levels under the programme.

He informed the gathering about progress achieved and the number of beneficiaries under various schemes.

The Collector said the government’s objective is to ensure transparent implementation of schemes for every eligible beneficiary.

He stated that petitions received during Gram Sabhas and Praja Darbar programmes are being resolved quickly.

The Collector instructed officials of all departments to visit field areas, identify problems, and prepare beneficiary lists scheme-wise.

Financial Assistance Distributed During Programme

Minister Danasari Anasuya Seethakka distributed:

  • Rs.2.25 crore to 112 women self-help groups through Stree Nidhi
  • Rs.16.15 crore to 175 women groups through bank linkage
  • Rs.2.02 crore cheques to 25 groups under Mulugu Municipality MEPMA

The minister also distributed:

  • Kalyana Lakshmi cheques to 140 beneficiaries from different villages
  • Indiramma House sanction letters to 14 beneficiaries from Pegadapalli, Kasindevipeta, and Rayinigudem villages
