Heavy rain likely in Telangana : Met

Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at all districts of Telangana during the next four days.

Hyderabad: Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Nirmal ,Jagtial, Karimnagar, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvangiri, Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Mahabubnagar, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet districts of Telangana during the next 24 hours, Meteorological Centre said on Monday.
In a bulletin here, it said that the same situation is likely to prevail in Nalgonda, Suryapet, Warangal, Hanamkonda, Jangaon, Yadadri Bhuvanagiri, Rangareddy, Hyderabad, Medchal Malkajgiri,Vikarabad, Sangareddy, Medak, Kamareddy, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal districts of the state on Tuesday.
Heavy rain is likely to occur at isolated places in Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal districts of Telangana on September 7.
The same situation is likely to prevail in Adilabad, Komaram Bheem Asifabad, Nirmal, Nizamabad, Jayashankar Bhupalpally, Mulugu, Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Nalgonda, Suryapet, Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet, Jogulamba Gadwal districts of the state on September 8.
Thunderstorm accompanied with lightning is likely to occur at all districts of Telangana during the next four days.
Light to moderate rain or thundershowers is likely to occur at most places or at many places in the state during the next five days.
Very heavy rain occurred at isolated places in Jogulamba Gadwal and Wanaparthy and heavy rain occurred at few places in Jogulamba Gadwal and at isolated places in Mulugu, Nagarkurnool and Wanaparthy districts of Telangana during the last 24 hours.
Southwest monsoon has been normal in the state during the same period.
Rain occurred at a few places in Telangana during the last 24 hours, the bulletin added.
