B Hemalatha, a second year BA student of Sarojini Naidu Vanita Maha Vidyalaya, Hyderabad, has won gold and silver medals in the Khelo India University Games 2022-23 being played at Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh. She bagged gold medal in rowing (500m) lightweight women’s single scull while won silver medal in 2000m lightweight women’s single scull.
