Hyderabad: A 20-feet high Ganesh idol collapsed in Hyderabad city today. The incident took place in Himayat Nagar area.
This idol was being taken to Hussain Sagar for immersion when the idol collapsed. It has been learned that due to the heavy rain in the city yesterday, the Ganesh idol made of clay got wet as a result it collapsed. The incident resulted in disruption of traffic on the busy road of the city.
