The famous Bhagmati boat in Hussain Sagar went adrift in the thunderstorms on Tuesday evening while passengers were onboard.
Around 30 people on board were caught in heavy thunderstorms while returning back to the jetty as rough weather caught the city off guard.
According to Saifabad Police officials, the boat failed during the rainstorms. However, the tourism department officials took timely action and averted a big a mishap. They towed back the boat to the jetty at the Hyderabad Boat Club.
The video of the boat drifting away went viral on Twitter.
