Hyderabad: Distribution of Rs 1 lakh cheques to minorities tomorrow; traffic restrictions to come into force
Hyderabad: Traffic Police has issued a traffic advisory for the areas surrounding LB Stadium in connection with the distribution of subsidy cheques to minority beneficiaries on Saturday. The restrictions will be enforced from 11 am to 5 pm, during which traffic diversions and stops may be implemented as necessary.
Motorists are advised to be aware of changes at various junctions including Old Police Control Room, Basheerbagh, BJR Statue, SBI Gunfoundry, Abids Circle, AR Petrol Pump (Public Gardens), Nampally, KLK Building, Liberty, Ravindra Bharathi, Lakdikapool, Iqbal Minar, Himayath Nagar, Assembly, MJ Market, and Hyderguda.
RTC buses traveling from Ravindra Bharathi towards Abids should avoid LB Stadium’s main gate near Khan Lateef Khan Building, instead taking a diversion at AR Petrol (Public Gardens) bunk onto Nampally Station Road.
Traffic from Chapel Road, Nampally, heading towards BJR Statue will be rerouted at AR Petrol pump towards Hyderabad Traffic Police Control Room junction.
Traffic coming from SBI Gunfoundry towards Basheerbagh Flyover will be rerouted towards Chapel Road at SBI Gunfoundry.
For traffic from Ravindra Bharathi and Hill Fort Road intending to proceed towards BJR Statue and SBI Gunfoundry, diversion will be in place towards Sujatha High School at KLK Building, Fateh Maidan.
Drivers coming from Basheerbagh Flyover side won’t be allowed to turn right at BJR Statue; instead, they should proceed up to SBI Gunfoundry and make a right turn onto Chapel Road.
Traffic coming from Old MLA quarters towards Basheerbagh will be diverted at Old MLA quarters towards Himayat Nagar Y Junction.
Traffic from King Koti and Boggulakunta heading to Basheerbagh via Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan will be rerouted at King Koti X Roads towards Taj Mahal or Eden Garden.
Traffic going from Basheerbagh towards Police Control Room will not be permitted; a diversion will direct it at Basheerbagh towards Liberty.
