On January 30, 2025, all meat and beef shops, along with cattle, sheep, and goat slaughterhouses in Hyderabad, will remain closed in observance of Mahatma Gandhi’s Death Anniversary.
Hyderabad: In observance of Mahatma Gandhi’s Death Anniversary, all cattle, sheep, and goat slaughterhouses, as well as retail meat and beef shops, will remain closed on January 30, 2025, within the limits of the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
The closure is in compliance with the national observance of the day, which commemorates the death of Mahatma Gandhi. All businesses related to meat and beef sales in the city will remain closed for the day as part of the directive.
