Hyderabad Police Conduct Surprise Vehicle Checks, Snake Seized from Bike in Chandrayangutta

Hyderabad police conducted surprise vehicle checking ahead of PM Modi’s May 10 visit. A man carrying a snake on a motorcycle was stopped during inspections at MBNR X Road.

Police conducted surprise vehicle checking at MBNR X Road in Hyderabad ahead of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s proposed visit to the city on May 10. During the checking drive carried out by Chandrayangutta police, officials found a person transporting a snake on a motorcycle. Police stopped the individual, shifted him to the police station and later handed over the snake to the Forest Department.

Surprise Vehicle Checking Conducted Ahead of PM Modi Hyderabad Visit

According to police officials, the surprise checking drive was conducted at MBNR X Road keeping in view the upcoming Hyderabad visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi on May 10.

Officials stated that a major programme is scheduled to be held at Secunderabad Parade Ground as part of the Prime Minister’s visit.

Police said the checking operation was aimed at ensuring that no disturbance affects the upcoming programmes in the city.

Snake Found on Motorcycle During Police Checking

During the inspection drive, police reportedly noticed a man carrying a snake on his motorcycle.

Officials immediately stopped the individual and shifted him to the police station for questioning.

According to police, the snake was later handed over to Forest Department officials.

Chandrayangutta Police Continue Checking Operations

Police officials stated that surprise vehicle checking operations will continue across the zone.

According to officials, the inspections are part of heightened security arrangements ahead of important programmes scheduled in Hyderabad in the coming days.
