Hyderabad Traffic Advisory for Golconda Bonalu 2026

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has announced a detailed traffic advisory for the Golconda Bonalu Celebrations-2026. Traffic diversions and alternative routes will remain in force from 6:00 AM to 10:00 PM on July 16, 19, 23 and 26, 2026, due to the expected participation of a large number of devotees from Hyderabad and surrounding districts.

Heavy traffic congestion is expected on roads leading to Golconda Fort, and motorists have been requested to cooperate with traffic police.

Routes Expected to Witness Heavy Traffic

Heavy congestion is expected on the following routes:

  1. Ramdevguda to Golconda Fort via Makkai Darwaza
  2. Langar Houz to Golconda Fort via Fathe Darwaza
  3. Shikpet Nala, Seven Tombs to Golconda Fort via Banjara Darwaza

Accordingly, traffic diversions will be activated on the above dates.

Traffic Diversion Points

The Hyderabad Traffic Police announced the following diversions:

  • Traffic coming from Narsingi, Sun City, Langer House towards Shaikpet – Film Nagar – Gacchibowli via Makkai Darwaja – Golconda Fort – Banjari Darwaja will be diverted at Ramdevguda towards Langer House – Balika Bhavan – Nanal Nagar.
  • Traffic coming from Film Nagar, Shaikpet via Banjari Darwaja – Makkai Darwaja will be diverted at Outside Banjari Darwaja towards Aljapur Road – Neknampur.
  • General traffic coming from Moghal ka Nala via Langer House – Fathe Darwaja – Golconda Fort will be diverted at Langer House X Road towards Balika Bhavan – Nanal Nagar.

Parking Arrangements for Devotees

The Hyderabad Traffic Police has also announced dedicated parking arrangements.

Devotees Coming from Ramdevguda Side

Devotees travelling towards Golconda Fort via Makkai Darwaza should park vehicles at:

  1. Ashoor Khana to Army Sentry Post2 Wheelers
  2. Artillary Centre3 Wheelers, 4 Wheelers and Buses

After parking, devotees should walk to Golconda Fort.

Devotees Coming from Langar Houz Side

Devotees travelling via Fateh Darwaza should park at:

  1. HUDA Park, Fateh Darwaza2 Wheelers
  2. Govt. Primary School2 Wheelers
  3. Owaisi Ground2 Wheelers, 3 Wheelers and 4 Wheelers

They should then walk to Golconda Fort.

Devotees Coming from Shaikpet Side

Devotees travelling via Banjara Darwaja should park at:

  1. Hockey Ground, Golconda4 Wheelers
  2. Owaisi Ground, Golconda4 Wheelers
  3. Area Hospital Golconda2 Wheelers
  4. Deccan Park, 7 Tombs4 Wheelers and Buses

After parking, devotees should walk to Golconda Fort.

QR Codes and Travel Advisory

Devotees have been requested to scan the QR codes displayed on signages along all routes to locate the nearest parking area to Golconda Fort and park their vehicles only at the designated parking places in an orderly manner.

Regular commuters are advised to use alternative routes to avoid traffic congestion.
