Monsoon session of Telangana Assembly & Council to begin from Sep 6
The Business Advisory Council (BAC) will meet on the first day of the session to decide on the number of days the Assembly and Council have to sit.

Hyderabad: The monsoon session of Telangana Legislative Assembly and Council will commence here from next Tuesday.
The Assembly and the Council will start at 11.30 a.m. on September 6, a notification issued by the Legislature said on Friday evening.
The Business Advisory Council (BAC) will meet on the first day of the session to decide on the number of days the Assembly and Council have to sit.
The monsoon session will be held without Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan’s customary address as both the houses have not been prorogued.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao would convene a meeting of the Cabinet on Saturday evening to discuss the Assembly session and other issues.
The TRS legislature party meeting will be held at the party office soon after the Cabinet meeting and would be chaired by KCR.
MLAs, MLCs will take part in the meeting besides MPs as special invitees.
The meeting will discuss various development programs implemented in the state, newly enforced pensions, Podu lands to the Tribals and other issues.
According to party sources, the Chief Minister invited CPI (M) State secretary Tammineni Veerabhadram for a breakfast meeting today morning in the wake of the party extending support to the TRS in the byelection to Munugode Assembly constituency likely to be held in next few months.
