No Sale of Books, Stationery, Uniforms in Private Schools: Hyderabad DEO
As per the directions of Hyderabad DEO private schools are no longer allowed to sell books, uniforms, or stationery on their premises.
Hyderabad: The District Educational Officer (DEO) of Hyderabad has issued a directive to all private schools in the district, including those following State, CBSE, and ICSE curricula.
As per direction private schools are no longer allowed to sell books, uniforms, or stationery on their premises.
The DEO has instructed all Deputy Educational Officers to form mandal-level committees to monitor the private schools regularly.
These committees are responsible for ensuring that the schools comply with the new rule. If any school is found selling these items, the violation should be reported to the DEO for necessary action.
Additionally, all Deputy Educational Officers and Deputy Inspectors of Schools are required to enforce this directive and submit regular compliance reports to the DEO.
The aim is to prevent the commercial sale of educational materials within school premises, ensuring that schools focus on their primary educational mission.
