One die as gas cylinder explodes

Tiruchirapalli (Tamil Nadu): A 36-year-old man was killed and six others were injured, one of them critically, after a helium gas cylinder used for inflating balloons exploded at the busy Main Guard Gate locality in Tiruchirapalli city on Sunday night.
Police said the incident occurred when the balloon seller was inflating balloons in front of a popular textile showroom.
Ravikumar, who was standing near the gas cylinder cart, was killed in the blast, while balloon Anar Singh was critically injured.

An auto rickshaw and a couple of two wheelers parked near the textile showroom were damaged in the explosion.
