Hyderabad: Patancheru MLA Gudem Mahipal Reddy’s son, Gudem Vishnuvardhan Reddy (34), passed away on Thursday while receiving treatment for an illness at a hospital in Hyderabad. Vishnuvardhan Reddy had been actively involved in the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) since his student days. Unfortunately, on July 23, he fell ill and was admitted to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with jaundice. Tragically, he breathed his last at 2.30 am on Thursday.
Vishnuvardhan Reddy is survived by his wife, Dr. Kiranmai, and their son and daughter. The funeral has been scheduled to take place near Patancheru on Thursday evening.
Leaders, including Finance Minister T Harish Rao and Medak MP Kotha Prabhakar Reddy, among others, have expressed their deepest condolences for the untimely loss.
