CM Revanth Reddy to Soon Lay Foundation Stone for First Phase of 1 Lakh Indiramma Houses
Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced that CM Revanth Reddy will soon launch the first phase of one lakh houses under the CURE initiative. The government aims to complete the homes within a year and provide Indiramma houses to urban poor families.

Hyderabad: Telangana Revenue, Housing, Information and Public Relations Minister Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy announced that Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will soon lay the foundation stone for the first phase of the CURE initiative, under which one lakh sanctioned houses will be constructed. The minister said the government aims to complete the construction of these houses within one year and assured that modern Indiramma houses will be built for urban poor families in their existing localities so that their livelihoods are not affected.

The announcement was made on Saturday when Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy, along with Ministers Ponnam Prabhakar and Mohammed Azharuddin, laid the foundation stone for an Integrated Sub-Registrar Office Complex in Banjara Hills, Hyderabad.
First Phase of 1 Lakh Houses Under CURE Initiative
Addressing the gathering, Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will soon launch the first phase of the CURE initiative by laying the foundation stone for one lakh sanctioned houses.
He said the government has prepared plans to ensure that the construction of the houses is completed within a year.
The minister emphasized that modern Indiramma houses would be provided to urban poor families in the areas where they currently live, preventing any disruption to their livelihood opportunities.
Houses to Be Built Within Constituencies
Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said that unlike the previous BRS government, which located housing projects 30 to 40 kilometres away from where beneficiaries lived, the present government would treat each constituency as a separate unit.
He stated that houses would be constructed within the same constituencies where the beneficiaries reside.
Describing the initiative as a gift from Chief Minister Revanth Reddy, the minister said it reflects the government’s commitment to the welfare of poor families.
Integrated Sub-Registrar Office Complex in Banjara Hills
The minister said the government is implementing reforms aimed at improving public services.
As part of these reforms, 13 Sub-Registrar Offices covering three corporations will be developed in a corporate-style format comparable to private sector facilities.
To avoid placing an additional financial burden on the government, construction responsibilities are being entrusted to reputed firms from the real estate and construction sectors.
Phoenix Group to Build 30,000-Square-Foot Complex
Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy said the Phoenix Group is expected to complete the 30,000-square-foot Integrated Sub-Registrar Office Complex within a few months.
The Banjara Hills complex will house:
- S.R. Nagar Sub-Registrar Office
- Banjara Hills Sub-Registrar Office
- Golconda Sub-Registrar Office
- DIG Office
- Registrar of Chits Office (Golconda)
The minister said the project is expected to create better employment and business opportunities for local residents.
Arrangements for Muslim Community Prayer Services
The minister also announced that officials have been instructed to facilitate prayer services twice every year for members of the Muslim community who have been offering prayers in the area for generations.
