Government Adviser Mohammed Ali Shabbir on Tuesday distributed 1,700 sewing machines to minority women and Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques worth ₹28 lakh to 42 beneficiaries in Nizamabad, reiterating the Telangana government’s commitment to minority welfare and support for poor families. The sewing machines were distributed through the Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation, while the CMRF cheques were handed over at the R&B Guest House.

1,700 Sewing Machines Distributed to Minority Women
At a programme organised by the Telangana Minorities Finance Corporation, Mohammed Ali Shabbir said 1,700 sewing machines worth ₹1.02 crore were being distributed across Nizamabad district.
Out of these, 500 sewing machines were allotted to women from the Nizamabad Urban Assembly constituency.
He said the initiative was launched to promote self-employment and economic empowerment among minority women.
₹28 Lakh CMRF Aid Given to 42 Beneficiaries
Later, at the R&B Guest House, Shabbir Ali distributed Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) cheques worth ₹28 lakh to 42 beneficiaries from various divisions of Nizamabad town.
He said the CMRF provides vital financial assistance to families facing:
- Medical emergencies
- Accidents
- Other hardships
Welfare Schemes Being Implemented Transparently
Speaking on the occasion, Mohammed Ali Shabbir said the Congress government is implementing welfare schemes transparently and ensuring that benefits reach eligible beneficiaries directly without middlemen.
He urged recipients to make productive use of the financial assistance and appealed to officials and public representatives to work together for the effective implementation of welfare programmes.
