Singareni CMD Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti Reviews Mining Operations in Ramagundam Region
During his visit to the Coal Handling Plant (CHP) in the RG-II Area, the CMD reviewed coal transportation operations and quality control measures with officers and employees. He stressed the importance of maintaining the highest standards in coal quality while ensuring speedy transportation.

Ramagundam: Singareni Collieries Company Limited (SCCL) Chairman and Managing Director Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti on Thursday undertook a comprehensive review of mining operations and infrastructure works in the Ramagundam region as part of his two-day official tour.
The CMD visited the RG-I and RG-II Areas, where he inspected coal production activities, reviewed quality management systems and assessed the progress of ongoing infrastructure projects.
Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti arrived in Ramagundam by train in the afternoon and was accorded a warm reception by company Directors, Area General Managers and senior officials.

The CMD also inspected the construction works of the new CHP bunker and reviewed details related to its storage capacity and the coal transportation system being developed. He directed officials to complete the project within the stipulated timeframe.

Later, Dr. Buddhaprakash Jyoti visited the RG OC-3 mine viewpoint, where he held discussions with Directors, the Area General Manager and other officials regarding mine life, production systems and quality standards. He instructed officials to exceed the targets set for coal production and overburden removal.
As part of the tour, the CMD also visited the Singareni Mines Rescue Station and congratulated the rescue team members who recently earned international recognition for their outstanding performance.
Subsequently, he inspected the GDK-5 Opencast Mine in the RG-I Area and reviewed ongoing production activities. Officials briefed him about various aspects of the project during the inspection.
Among those present during the programme were Directors Sri L.V. Suryanarayana, Sri K. Venkateswarlu and Sri M. Tirumala Rao, Executive Director (Coal Movement) Sri B. Venkanna, GM (Coordination & Marketing) Sri T. Srinivas, along with the General Managers of RG-I, RG-II, RG-III and Adriyala Project — Sri Lalith Kumar, Sri Bandi Venkataiah, Sri Madhusudan and Sri Kolipaka Nageswara Rao. GM (Rescue) Sri Srinivasa Reddy and other senior officials also participated in the inspections.
