Auraiya A school teacher in Uttar Pradesh’s Auraiya district beat up a student to death for just writing one word wrong in a test. The police have registered a case against the teacher in this regard. The teacher is absconding.
Police said on Monday that a sociology teacher of Adarsh Inter College, kicked and punched the student after he wrote a wrong word in the test. The condition of the student became critical and after receiving treatment for several days, the student died this morning.
The student belonged to the SC community. Officials of Bhim Army have also reached the village. A case has been registered against the teacher under the assault and Dalit Act. After the news of the death, the school was closed and the teacher escaped.
The police said that this incident is occurred on September 7. On that day, while taking the test of class 10th students, 15-year-old boy was beaten up for writing a word wrongly in the copy, following which he fainted. The student was admitted to a private hospital. But the student died during the treatment at the hospital.
The father of the deceased has alleged racial discrimination.
