Telangana government gives relief to IT workers as well


Hyderabad: Due to heavy rainfall and the weather office’s prediction of continued downpours for the next three days, the Government of Telangana has taken necessary precautions in the global city of Hyderabad. It has declared holidays for schools and government offices within the GHMC limits on Friday and Saturday.

After a review meeting conducted by Chief Secretary Santi Kumari on Thursday, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao instructed her to announce the holidays to ensure public safety.

Additionally, in light of the prevailing weather conditions, the government has advised private companies to consider the option of allowing their employees to work from home.

The Telangana government has also issued directives specifically to the IT sector. Chief Minister Chandrasekhar Rao has directed all IT and ITES companies to permit their employees to work from home on Friday and Saturday, acknowledging the persistent and heavy rainfall in Hyderabad city.
