Hyderabad Traffic Alert: Uppal Ring Road Junction Closed for 3 Months Due to Elevated Corridor Works
Hyderabad Traffic Police announced a 3-month closure of Uppal Ring Road Junction due to Uppal-Narapally Elevated Corridor works, with major traffic diversions in place.

Hyderabad: The busy Uppal Ring Road Junction has been temporarily closed from today due to construction works related to the Uppal to Narapally Elevated Corridor project. Traffic restrictions will remain in force for the next three months, and Hyderabad Traffic Police have announced several diversions for commuters travelling towards Warangal, Secunderabad and Nagole.

According to traffic police, vehicles travelling from Ramanthapur and Habsiguda towards Warangal are being diverted through alternative routes to avoid congestion near the construction zone.
Alternative Route for Vehicles Towards Warangal
Traffic police stated that vehicles coming from Ramanthapur and Habsiguda towards Warangal will be diverted via:
- Pista House
- Behind Little Flower School
- Through Beerappaguda
- Connecting to the Warangal National Highway
Officials also stated that the Warangal bus stop near the GHMC Office has already been shifted to the Nalla Cheruvu Katta area.
Nagole and LB Nagar Travellers Advised to Use ORR Route
Passengers travelling from Nagole and LB Nagar towards Warangal have been advised to travel through:
- Hayathnagar
- Near Pedda Amberpet
- Using the Outer Ring Road (ORR) or service road
- Reaching the Warangal National Highway near Ghatkesar
Traffic Diversions for Secunderabad and Nagole Routes
Traffic police also announced diversions for vehicles travelling from Peerzadiguda towards Secunderabad.
Such commuters must take the route through Lakshma Reddy Colony before reaching Uppal Junction and travel towards Uppal Metro Station near Master Chef Restaurant. From there, motorists will need to take a U-turn and proceed towards Secunderabad.
For travellers moving from Peerzadiguda to Nagole, police advised using the Bhagayath Layout route.
Vehicles travelling from Nagole towards Warangal have also been instructed to use the same Bhagayath route.
No Restrictions for Habsiguda to Nagole Route
Traffic police clarified that there are no restrictions on vehicles travelling from Habsiguda towards Nagole.
Hyderabad Traffic Police Appeal to Commuters
Hyderabad Traffic Police requested citizens to use alternative routes and check traffic updates before starting their journey to avoid unnecessary inconvenience and traffic congestion during the three-month construction period.
