2025-26 Inter Academic Calendar Released: Check Dussehra and Sankranti Holiday Dates

The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has officially announced the academic calendar for the 2025-26 academic year.

Hyderabad: The Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TSBIE) has officially announced the academic calendar for the 2025-26 academic year. Inter Board Secretary Krishna Aditya unveiled the new calendar on Thursday, outlining crucial details for students, parents, and junior college administrations.

Classes for Junior Colleges to Begin from June 2, 2025

According to the newly released schedule, junior colleges across Telangana will reopen on June 2, 2025, marking the start of the new academic year. The calendar includes a total of 226 working days for both Intermediate First and Second Year students.

Half-Yearly and Pre-Final Exams Schedule

The Half-Yearly Exams are scheduled to be held from November 10 to 15, 2025. This will be followed by Pre-Final Examinations in the last week of January 2026.

Practical and Public Examination Dates

  • Practical Examinations will be conducted in the first week of February 2026.
  • Final Public Examinations (Theory) are scheduled for the first week of March 2026.

The last working day for the academic year will be March 31, 2026.

Holiday Schedule for 2025-26

As per the academic calendar, the following holidays have been scheduled:

  • Dussehra Holidays: September 28 to October 5, 2025
  • Sankranti Holidays: January 11 to 18, 2026
  • Summer Vacation: April 1 to May 31, 2026

Classes to Resume from June 1, 2026

The next academic session (2026-27) will begin on June 1, 2026, for both Intermediate First and Second Year students.
