ACB Court Summons KTR in Formula E-Car Racing Case Over Alleged Rs 55 Crore Diversion

IAS officer Arvind Kumar, former chief engineer of A3 HMDA BLN Reddy and sports consultant Kiran Malleswar Rao were also summoned in the case. The court posted the matter for hearing on July 31.

ACB Court Issues Summons in Formula E-Car Racing Case

According to officials in Hyderabad, the Anti-Corruption Bureau court issued summons to:

  • K. T. Rama Rao (KTR)
  • IAS officer Arvind Kumar
  • Former chief engineer of A3 HMDA BLN Reddy
  • Sports consultant Kiran Malleswar Rao

The summons were issued in connection with the Formula E-car racing case related to the 2023 event.

ACB Alleges Rs 55 Crore Diversion to Foreign Firm

In its chargesheet, the Anti-Corruption Bureau alleged that Rs 55 crore was diverted to a foreign firm in violation of norms during the conduct of the Formula E-car race held in 2023.

The allegations are part of the ongoing investigation into financial transactions linked to the event.

Hearing Posted for July 31

The Anti-Corruption Bureau court posted the matter for further hearing on July 31.

Officials said the investigation and legal proceedings in the case are continuing.

FEO Already Questioned Representatives

According to officials, the FEO has already questioned representatives of:

  • KTR
  • Arvind Kumar
  • BLN Reddy

in connection with the Formula E-car race case.

Further inquiry into the matter is underway.
