After hearing arguments from both sides, the court reserved its order on the interim bail plea till Friday, while the hearing on the anticipatory bail petition was postponed to next week.

Arguments Presented in Telangana High Court

During the hearing in Hyderabad, senior advocate Niranjan Reddy, appearing for Bandi Bhageeradh, presented several arguments before the court.

The counsel stated that when the accused was stopped during driving in 2021, the alleged victim girl’s age was shown as 15 years.

According to Niranjan Reddy, the same age has been retained in the present charge sheet filed by police, raising questions over how this was possible.

Discrepancy in Date of Birth Mentioned in Charge Sheet and PAN Card

Niranjan Reddy further argued that the date of birth mentioned in the charge sheet and the date of birth mentioned in the alleged victim’s PAN card are different.

The counsel claimed that these discrepancies create clear doubts regarding the determination of the victim’s age.

He requested the court to grant bail to Bandi Bhageeradh after considering these contradictions.

The court also said that the detailed hearing on the anticipatory bail petition would continue next week.
