Telangana Welfare Government Moving Ahead with Development and Welfare: Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar at Praja Palana Meeting
Telangana Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar attended the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika meeting in Jagtial and announced development initiatives, welfare schemes, and plans for a sports ground in the district.

The district-level Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika 99-day action plan programme was held grandly on Friday at Sumangali Gardens in Jagtial.
Telangana SC, ST, Senior Citizens, Disabled and Transgender Empowerment Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar attended the programme as chief guest along with Jagtial MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar and District Collector B. Satya Prasad and formally inaugurated the event.
Table of Contents
State Tribal Corporation Chairman Tirupati also participated in the programme.
Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar Says Welfare and Development Are Two Eyes of Government
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar said the people’s government is moving forward considering welfare and development as its two eyes.
He said Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy launched the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme with the objective of resolving public problems.
The minister stated that review meetings were conducted for 99 days on 10 subjects at village, mandal, constituency, and district levels.
He said reports prepared under the Praja Palana Pragathi Pranalika programme would help solve people’s problems in a phased manner.
Young India Integrated School Planned for Jagtial
Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar said the Telangana Government is giving priority to education for SC, BC, and Minority communities.
As part of this initiative, the government has decided to establish Young India Integrated Schools in every constituency.
He stated that land has already been allocated for the Young India Integrated School in the Jagtial constituency.
The minister urged people not to believe misconceptions regarding the dispute over establishment of a Kendriya Vidyalaya in Jagtial.
He said the government is ready to allocate another three acres of land if required for the Kendriya Vidyalaya.
The minister also announced efforts to establish a sports ground in Jagtial district headquarters.
Huge Paddy and Maize Procurement in Jagtial District
The minister said Jagtial district witnessed high paddy and maize production this year.
According to him:
- 35,000 metric tonnes of maize have been procured in Jagtial district
- 2.60 lakh metric tonnes of paddy have been procured so far
He sought public support for the welfare-oriented people’s government.
The minister said the government is implementing Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika with the aim of public welfare and comprehensive development.
He appreciated officials for working in coordination and ensuring welfare schemes reach eligible beneficiaries.
Government Welfare Schemes Benefiting People
Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar said the government is implementing several welfare programmes for farmers, women, elderly people, students, and poor families.
He instructed all departments to provide transparent and speedy services to people.
The minister directed officials to focus on:
- Resolution of public grievances
- Clearance of pending applications
- Implementation of village-level development programmes
He also called upon everyone to work together beyond politics to place Jagtial district among the leading districts in Telangana.
The minister said he would always remain available as district minister and support district development with the cooperation of Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Jagtial MLA Highlights Development Programmes
Speaking during the programme, Jagtial MLA Dr. Sanjay Kumar said welfare schemes under Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika are reaching people more effectively in the Jagtial constituency.
He said development works under AMRUT 2.0 schemes are being implemented in Jagtial and Raikal municipal limits with support from the Central and State Governments.
The MLA also said efforts were made to arrange land for the Young India Integrated School and Kendriya Vidyalaya being set up at Chalgal village in Jagtial Rural mandal.
He added that officials and public representatives are working together efficiently in implementing development programmes.
According to him, schemes such as:
- Rythu Bharosa
- Indiramma Houses
- Free bus travel for women
- Gruhajyothi
- Cheyutha pensions
are directly benefiting people.
He said the government is committed to strengthening infrastructure, employment opportunities, education, and healthcare in both rural and urban areas.
District Collector Explains Programme Activities
District Collector B. Satya Prasad said the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme is being conducted from March 6 to June 9.
He stated that several development programmes were conducted in the district since the beginning of the programme.
The Collector said departmental achievements were displayed in documentary form during the meeting.
He stated that each department explained:
- Progress achieved
- Services provided to people
- Implementation details of government schemes
Special discussions were also held on:
- Beneficiary selection
- Clearance of pending files
- Distribution of financial assistance
Details of Welfare Schemes Presented at Meeting
The Collector informed the gathering about implementation of major state government schemes including:
- Rythu Bharosa
- Indiramma Houses
- Free bus travel for women
- Rs.500 subsidy gas cylinder
- Gruhajyothi
- Bonus for fine variety paddy
- Cheyutha pensions
- Kalyana Lakshmi
- Shaadi Mubarak
Officials also explained programmes related to:
- Indira Mahila Shakti bank linkage
- Interest-free loans
- Indiramma sarees
- Distribution of new ration cards
Special exhibitions were organised on:
- Badi Bata
- Job melas
- Awareness programmes
- Village-level development activities
Officials requested all district-level departments to coordinate with local public representatives and provide better services to people.
Programme Began With Lamp Lighting Ceremony
Earlier, the programme began with lighting of the ceremonial lamp, singing of the Telangana State song, Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy’s message, progress reports by district-level officials, and speeches by the District Library Organisation Chairman and municipal chairpersons regarding the Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika programme.
The Praja Palana – Pragathi Pranalika 99-day action plan programme held in Jagtial focused on welfare, development, and resolution of public grievances. Telangana Welfare Minister Adluri Laxman Kumar announced plans for a sports ground in Jagtial, highlighted welfare schemes and agricultural procurement figures, and assured that the government would continue working for comprehensive district development with support from Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
