ACB Raids Deputy Director of Lands & Survey; Cash, Property Documents Seized in Hyderabad

Telangana ACB raided 11 locations in Hyderabad linked to Deputy Director of Lands & Survey S. Narahari over alleged disproportionate assets. Officials reportedly seized ₹32 lakh cash, property documents, and records of significant bank deposits. Investigation is ongoing.

Hyderabad: Continuing its crackdown against allegedly corrupt top government officials, the Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) conducted extensive searches across 11 locations in and around Hyderabad against S. Narahari, Deputy Director of Lands & Survey (Multi Zone-2), over allegations of possessing disproportionate assets beyond his known sources of income.

The ACB raids were led by ACB DSP Gangasani Sridhar. Search operations were carried out at Narahari’s residence in Chatrinaka, his office in Narayanguda, and at properties linked to his relatives and close associates.

ACB Conducts Searches at 11 Locations in Hyderabad

According to sources, the Telangana ACB conducted coordinated searches at 11 locations in and around Hyderabad as part of its investigation into allegations of disproportionate assets against S. Narahari.

The searches covered multiple premises, including his residence, office, and properties allegedly connected to family members and close associates.

₹32 Lakh Cash and Property Documents Seized

Sources said officials seized approximately ₹32 lakh in cash during the raids. In addition to the cash, investigators reportedly recovered documents related to multiple properties and records indicating significant bank deposits.

The seized material is being examined as part of the ongoing investigation into the assets and financial dealings of the Deputy Director.

Investigation Into Assets, Bank Accounts and Investments Continues

Officials are continuing investigations into Narahari’s assets, bank accounts, and investments to determine whether they are disproportionate to his known sources of income.

The Telangana Anti-Corruption Bureau has not yet released further details regarding the findings of the searches. The investigation remains ongoing.
