To address the issue, the officials directed GHMC staff to immediately begin road widening works at the identified bottleneck points.

Sajjanar Directs Early Completion of Civil Works

Speaking on the occasion, Hyderabad Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar said the inspection reviewed the progress of works being carried out by different departments to ensure the successful implementation of the one-way traffic system around KBR Park.

He said officials had been instructed to complete the pending minor civil works quickly to avoid inconvenience to commuters.

Sajjanar also stressed the need to install:

  • Distinct lane markings
  • Pelican signals for pedestrian safety

He instructed representatives of the construction agencies to speed up the ongoing park development works.

GHMC Assures Quick Completion of Road Works

GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan said the proposed one-way traffic system would be implemented effectively to reduce congestion around KBR Park.

He assured that all works suggested by the Hyderabad City Police would be completed at the earliest and appealed to citizens to cooperate during the execution of the project.

Karnan added that the GHMC and Hyderabad City Police are working in continuous coordination to ensure hassle-free travel for city residents.

Senior officials from GHMC and Hyderabad City Police, including GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan, Police Commissioner V.C. Sajjanar, and Joint CP (Traffic) D.
