Hyderabad: Panic gripped Chandanager after a gas cylinder used for filling balloons suddenly exploded on Saturday evening, leaving a 19-year-old man critically injured and three others with minor injuries.
The incident occurred at around 4:30 PM on the service road opposite GSM Mall in Chandanager. According to preliminary information, the cylinder used to fill balloons exploded with a powerful blast.
The impact left 19-year-old Vivek Paul severely injured, with one of his legs reportedly severed in the explosion. Vivek, who lives near the Ayyappa Temple in Chandanager, earns his livelihood by operating an ice-cream cart.
