Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy here on Thursday announced Rs 25 ex gratia to each of the family of the deceased who were killed in the fire accident which took place in the Porus chemical factory at Akkireddygudem village in Musunuru mandal in Eluru district last night. The Chief Minister announced Rs 25 lakh to the families of each of the deceased, Rs 5 lakh to those who suffered serious injuries Rs 2 lakh to those who suffered minor injuries. Chief Minister Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy expressed shock and grief over the fire accident. He directed the Superintendent of Eluru district to conduct an inquiry on the fire mishap. He directed the district authorities to provide the best treatment to the injured. Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan expressed anguish over the massive fire accident at a chemical factory in Akkireddigudem in Eluru district, in which six workers lost their lives and 13 others were injured. The Governor expressed profound grief over the loss of lives and offered his heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family members and wished for the speedy recovery of those injured in the accident. Six factory workers were killed and 13 others injured five of them critically, when a reactor in Porus chemicals private limited exploded at Akkireddygudem village in Musunuru mandal in Eluru district in Andhra Pradesh last night.
