Azad Tek Fest, Panel Discussion, Azad Walk held at MANUU

The Fest organized by MANUU Polytechnic showcased the ingenuity and technological prowess of the university’s students and faculty.

Over 400 participants presented 50 innovative projects that utilised cutting-edge technology to address various societal challenges and enhance the quality of life.

Meanwhile, a thought-provoking panel discussion on “Environment and Sustainable Development” was held on Wednesday, in which renowned experts, including Prof. Prashant Reddy, Prof. Amir Ullah Khan and Prof.

Asim Prakash, engaged in a stimulating exchange of ideas, highlighting the critical role of environmental awareness and sustainable practices in shaping a healthier and more harmonious world. Dr Firoz Alam coordinated the program and Dr Qudsi Rizwi proposed a vote thanks.

A symbolic ‘Azad Walk’ organized yesterday was flagged off by Prof. Ishtiaque Ahmed, Registrar from University Health Centre which ended at Main Gate of MANUU Campus. Prof. Syed Alim Ashraf Jaisi, Chairperson, Azad Day Celebrations thanked all the participants.

Prof. Shugufta Shaheen, Prof. Vanja M, Prof. M.A. Sami Siddiqui, Dr. Mohd Yousuf Khan, Dr. Zair Hussain were present on the occasion.

The Azad Literary Festival continued with a captivating film screening that provided a poignant tribute to Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. The film showcased Azad’s contributions as a scholar, freedom fighter, and visionary leader.

Open Mic event was held at Amphitheatre, providing a platform for students to showcase their literary talents. Students with their original works, ranging from prose and poetry to satire, mono acts, and stand-up comedy captivated the audience.

 Amir Badr and Dr Iftekhar Ahmad coordinated the event. The Fine Arts Club organised a Calligraphy competition showcasing artistic talents of students. Ismat Fathima coordinated the event.
