Karimnagar: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national general secretary, and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar initiated a six-day-long Prajahitha Yatra, beginning with a public rally at Medipally village in Vemulawada assembly segment.
Addressing the gathering, Sanjay urged the people to choose between Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is striving for “Rama Rajya,” and Rahul Gandhi, who allegedly supports Razakars and extremist elements.
Sanjay emphasised the importance of electing leaders who stand by the people during challenging times. He questioned the voters about their preference for consistent leaders like himself or occasional visitors, parties with a legacy of Lord Rama or those descended from demons, and a party that believes in Hindu gods versus those who ridicule them.
Sanjay claimed the backing of PM Narendra Modi and Lord Rama while accusing the Congress and Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) of having the support of Razakars and demons.
He highlighted PM Modi’s role in the construction of the Ram Mandir at Ayodhya, contrasting it with the Congress leaders’ alleged ridicule of sacred rice grains from Ayodhya. Sanjay criticised Rahul Gandhi for questioning PM Modi’s caste and religion, urging him to disclose his own details.
Warning against a Congress-led government, Sanjay claimed it would threaten the Ram Mandir and rebuild the Babri Masjid. He also criticised KCR, stating that his time was up and accusing him of performing Tantrik worship.
Commenting on the state budget introduced in the assembly, Sanjay accused the Congress of cheating the people, claiming the allocated funds fell far short of the promises made before the elections.
Embarking on Prajahitha Yatra, Sanjay aimed to showcase his contributions to the Karimnagar parliamentary constituency and sought the people’s support for the upcoming elections.
