Hyderabad: Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) national general secretary and Member of Parliament, Bandi Sanjay Kumar, urged the Congress government in Telangana to demonstrate sincerity by implementing all six guarantees promised during the recent assembly elections.
Speaking at Malyala town in Nalgonda district during his Prajahitha Yatra, Sanjay set a deadline of four days for the Congress to fulfill its commitments.
Providing a breakdown of the funds required for the Congress guarantee schemes, Sanjay emphasized the release of funds for the Mahalakshmi scheme, Rythu Bharosa, agriculture laborers, bonus for paddy, Indiramma housing scheme, and housing plots for Telangana martyrs’ families.
He urged the government to act on its promises and release the necessary funds during the upcoming state cabinet meeting.
Responding to allegations from Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president K T Rama Rao, who claimed that Sanjay had not attended Lok Sabha sessions or raised Telangana-related questions, the BJP MP challenged KTR to check the Lok Sabha records. Sanjay countered by highlighting irregularities in KCR’s participation during the Telangana bill debate and called on KTR to compare parliamentary records.
Regarding the upcoming “Kadana Bheru” public rally by BRS in Karimnagar on March 12, Sanjay asserted that the people had already defeated BRS in the last battle and warned that the public would not forgive unless KCR issued an unconditional apology for his regime’s misdeeds.
Sanjay reiterated his commitment to speaking for Hindus and Hindutva, emphasizing that the BJP is the only party championing the cause of Hindus. He accused Congress and BRS leaders of fearing his stance on Hindu issues and Lord Ram, boldly advocating for voters to support the Modi government’s efforts in constructing the Ram Mandir.
