Hyderabad: Banks across various states in India will be closed for six consecutive days from September 13 to September 18 due to a combination of regional holidays, festivals, and weekends. According to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) calendar, this period includes several significant dates:
- September 13: Banks will be closed in Rajasthan for Ramdev Jayanti and Tijja Dashmi.
- September 14: Banks will be closed for Onam and the second Saturday of the month.
- September 15: Banks nationwide will be closed for Sunday.
- September 16: Banks will be closed across the country for Eid Milad-un-Nabi.
- September 17: Banks will be closed for Ganesh Visarjan in various regions.
- September 18: Banks in Gangtok will be closed for Narayana Guru Jayanti.
In Telugu-speaking states, banks will be closed from September 14 to September 16. In other regions, holidays vary, with closures expected from September 13 to September 15, including Saturday to Monday.
