BJP MP Sushil Modi gets murder threat
Sushil Modi said here on Tuesday that one Champa Soum (Soma) in the letter sent through speed post has written that he was leader of Trinamul Congress.
Patna: Former Bihar Deputy Chief Minister and BJP Rajya Sabha MP Sushil Kumar Modi got murder threat through a letter sent to him from East Vardhaman District of West Bengal.
Sushil Modi said here on Tuesday that one Champa Soum (Soma) in the letter sent through speed post has written that he was leader of Trinamul Congress. Soma further writes that the next Prime Minister could be Mamta Banerjee.
Dubbing Sushil Modi as “Pet” of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Soma in letter wrote some slogans in favour of Mamata Banerjee and Nitish Kumar and also threatened to kill Sushil Kumar Modi.
The BJP MP said that Champa Soma has also mentioned his mobile number in the threatening letter which he received at the address of Rajendra Nagar based his personal residential house.
Modi forwarded the letter along with its envelope to the senior police to superintendent of Patna with a request for further action in this connection.
