Hyderabad: Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy returned from New Delhi after his two-day visit to New Delhi and Ranchi.

The Chief Minister participated in the Rahul Gandhi led – ‘Bharat Jodo Naya Yatra’ in Ranchi on Monday and reached New Delhi in the same evening.

Revanth Reddy along with Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Minister for Housing and I& PR Ponguleti Srinivasa Reddy called on Congress leader Sonia Gandhi on Monday night and explained to her about the implementation of two Guarantees.

They also discussed about the State government’s recent Cabinet decisions, including BC Caste Census and implementation of two other guarantees.

The Congress leaders also urged Sonia Gandhi to contest from Telangana in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. Sonia Gandhi positively responded to the plea of Congress leaders and said that the decision will be taken in this regard after discussing the matter with the party leadership.

On Tuesday morning, BRS MP Venkatesh Neta joined Congress in the presence of AICC General Secretary (Organization) KC Venugopal in New Delhi.  Later, Revanth Reddy along with other leaders called on AICC President Mallikarjun Kharge at residence and discussed about the proposed election campaign for Lok Sabha polls. Revanth Reddy returned Hyderabad in a special flight.
