Emergency Alert Issued in Musi River Flowing Areas
As the floodwaters in Musi have escalated, traffic on the Moosaram Bagh Bridge has been shut off. Kishan Bagh, Chaderghat, Shankar Nagar, Moosarambagh, and Old Malakpet have been placed on high alert.

Hyderabad: The authorities have issued the first emergency alert in Musi river water flowing areas, as the flood in the Musi river is expected to worsen now that the four gates of Himayat Sagar have been lifted.
As the floodwaters in Musi have escalated, traffic on the Moosaram Bagh Bridge has been shut off. Kishan Bagh, Chaderghat, Shankar Nagar, Moosarambagh, and Old Malakpet have been placed on high alert.
Officials from the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) have issued a public safety alert. Raising two more gates would cause a massive flood in Musi River.
