Bengaluru: In a display of sheer talent and determination, young swimmers from Telangana, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Kerala showcased their aquatic prowess at the 34th South Zone Aquatic Championship 2023 held at the BSA Swimming Pool in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The competition, spanning from December 27th to 29th, witnessed remarkable performances across various swimming disciplines.
Girls, 100m Butterfly – GROUP III GIRLS:
Shivani Karra from Telangana secured the top spot with a swift time of 1:12.88.
Ritika Gokul of Karnataka claimed second place, clocking in at 1:17.27.
P. Vedasri from Andhra Pradesh took the third spot with a time of 1:19.88.
Girls, 200m Medley – GROUP III GIRLS:
Shivani Karra continued her winning streak, dominating the 200m Medley with a time of 2:44.08.
K. Lasya Sri from Andhra Pradesh secured the second position with a time of 2:49.32.
Sumanvi V from Karnataka clinched the third spot, finishing in 2:51.60.
Girls, 400m Freestyle – GROUP II GIRLS:
Sri Nithya Sagi of Telangana emerged victorious, completing the 400m Freestyle in 4:57.66.
Dhanya Nataraj Naik from Karnataka secured the second position with a time of 5:07.56.
