How long biryani hotels can be kept open? Home Minister Mahmood Ali gets a late-night call
Hyderabad: In a bizarre incident, Home Minister Mohammad Mahmood Ali got a strange call at midnight. The caller wanted to know from the Home Minister how long biryani hotels can be kept open.
Mr Mahmood Ali who was sleeping at that time was annoyed at the question at this late hour.
He expressed resentment at the caller and said that he is the Home Minister, he has scores of problems to solve and the person has called him on the issue of selling Biryani.
Expressing his displeasure on calling him so late at night, Mohammad Mahmood Ali said that hotels remain open till midnight which is quite late, so the hotels should be closed by 11 pm.
It is worth mentioning that the Majlis Ittehadul Muslimeen had earlier made a representation to the Hyderabad Police Commissioner CV Anand Commissioner of Police demanding permission for hotels to run till 1 .am.
