Hyd teen gang rape : Telangana Guv directs CS, DGP to submit detailed report
A Raj Bhavan communique here said, the Governor had gone through various media reports on the alleged gang rape of a 17-year-old girl.
Hyderabad: Telangana Governor Dr. Tamilisai Soundararajan on Sunday directed Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar and Director General of Police M Mahender Reddy to submit a detailed report within two days in connection with the alleged gang rape of a teenage girl in a car in Jubilee Hills area here on May 28.

Soundararajan said she was deeply anguished over this heinous incident.
On Saturday, the police had arrested two juveniles and they were produced before a Juvenile Court for their safe custody.
Another accused Saduddin Malik (18) was arrested on Friday.Two others identified in the crime — one juvenile and Omair Khan (18) were absconding. A manhunt is underway to apprehend them.
Meanwhile, National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) has also sought an explanation from the Hyderabad police over the delay in the registration of an FIR in connection with the gang rape.
The NCPCR has also sought the registration of an FIR against Hyderabad pub for allowing entry the minors, who were involved in the crime.
The accused sexually assaulted the victim in an Innova vehicle on the evening of May 28 after promising to drop her home from a pub in Jubilee Hills where the victim and the accused attended a party.The gang-rape incident triggered a political uproar as the BJP Telangana Unit alleged that the police are trying to dilute the minor girl’s rape case and protect the relatives of persons in power.
It had demanded that case be transferred to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) or should be probed by a sitting judge .
Jana Sena Party activists yesterday staged a protest in front of Jubilee Hills police station demanding the arrest of the accused.
